Well we had a pretty good Halloween here. The kids got some candy and had some fun, too. We didn't decorate or dress up that much this year but I'm pretty sure the kids were happy.
I made sure to tell all the classes a scary story. You know the type. Lights low and a flashlight to make things a little more spooky. Some of the kids were really spooked but then I turned on the lights and everyone thought it was funny.
When Lily first mentioned that I was going to tell a story it didn't go over too well. All the kids were complaining, "We won't understand". But when I told it I made sure to use a lot of actions and words they already knew so they all got right into it. When class was over nobody complained about the story (which means it must have been ok).
