We went to Tainan yesterday. It's about the same as a trip to Barrie. It was ok. We got to walk down a very old street that had a market on it. The people say it hasn't been changed for hundreds of years.
We ate shrimp rolls and had oyster cooked with egg and vegetables. Pretty good. For dessert we had shaved ice with almond pudding and a sweet sauce. I've always loved the cold snacks.
There was a cool lightning storm going on as well. No thunder but you could see the lightning crawling through the clouds. I wish I had a camera that could have easily caught the sight. It was very interesting. What a light show.
