stinky tofu

Well, we went to the night market last night and stuffed ourselves. One thing I can say about Taiwan is if you are hungry after hours there is always a place to go and eat almost anything.

We went and had steak and lamb fried with vegetables and fish (terriyaki style). After we had that we smelled some stinky tofu (yes, it can be quite stinky). I really like the kimchi vegetables they use and it is a Taiwanese specialty. When I first got here I hated it (especially the smell) but now I don't mind the tofu or it's pungent odor.

Some of the markets here are huge and I know a few guys back home who would love to have something like this. Especially because the food is not expensive. Most small dishes are around a dollar or two with the more expensive being about four dollars. Lily's uncle loves to take us to the night market.

Well that's all for now.
